It says Victoria on the side and appears to be German.

And it is german, Munich as far as I remember - fairly old, not only pre-WWII...older...?

But sitting at the office, I'm unable to get my hands on the books and files (40 miles) - will do a check in 3-4 hours time when I'm home - and be back on the thread!

GLM - I haven't forgotten, but at this moment I simply cannot find the info, but I'm still trying :(
I recon. the reel - have seen the model several times, and without being rude - I'm sure you agree that these would'nt be in top five in the 'best looking reel contest' :lol: but it is a funny looking reel.
Well - untill I manage to find the info - perhaps some of the german members of this board could give us a hand here !
I'll keep trying :oops:
