Any info on this Pat Pending reel ?

Hello all,
I am new to this board. Can't figure out how to post a photo.
I just recently started collecting old lures and reels.

I have a reel that reads

Div. of Quaker City Gear Wks
Phila. PA
Made in USA
Pat Pending
Surf Castomatic

I'm thinking it may be a Penn ?

any info. would be greatly appreciated

John, it's not a Penn. QCGW made reels in Huntington Valley, Pa. A long-time president was an Olympic decathlete, later a champion fly-caster. Their non-surf Castomatic shows up everywhere. I don't know if they made more than the two models.
