Help needed IDing reel

Post by Bigpoppa »

Hey guys, I'm new to the world of vintage/antique reels and am hoping someone will be able to ID this reel. I recently inherited a bunch of older rods and reels and was not able to find any info on this one. It looks to be in pretty good shape except for where the name is engraved causing it to be hard to read. It looks like it says something like Lord Weld, but some of the letters are illegible. I will add some pictures, thanks in advance for any help.

Lord Weldon fly reel.
Essentially the equivalent of the Pflueger 1554 - likely a merchant reel.
Originally was painted green.
Not terribly valuable, unless it the paint in good condition - then they become rare.
