Early Medalist 1394

Post by Reelman »

I have a chance to buy this reel. But I do not follow fly reels very close. It has a amber handle and metal center on the spool face not the white plastic. It does not have the line guild. Could somebody please email me and give me a idea on a price range this reel falls in.

:D :) 8) :!:  jump usa Merve, look at Lawsons 3rd edition page 134, he list it with no line guide first mdl. i have only worked on a few of these, I can see no real differance from other modles except size and line capacity, I have one I used parts off of several years ago, the Frame was badly bent and the pillers were destroyed! It depends on CONDITION! and also was it or does it look as it has salt water intrusion? if not in good condition , then as we do think of it as a parts reel! trust this helps some!
