Odd "Mitchell London" fly reel

Folks: I picked up a skeleton-style fly reel that is stamped "Mitchell London" on top of the foot. Yes, I know you are all going to clamber for photos, but I'm at work and can't post anything just now. The reel is exactly like the brass fly reels that appear on eBay now and then that are marked "Abu Zeiss" on the handle.
I suspect this is a knockoff reel from Pakistan or India, but I'm also wondering if there is or was a British reel company named Mitchell.
Any thoughts on this one?

about all I can tell you is that it's a replica reel. Don't know the date, but there's a guy in Australia with a stash of them.
