Vintage Shakespeare Baitcaster NOS Parts--Cleaning the Shop

Post by Bronco »

This is an offer for ORCA board people who might have a use for some of these parts. I have about 78 pounds of old vintage Shakespeare baitcaster or coventional reel parts that I would like to make available to those on this board who could use them. I am not looking to get rich. So we could trade, barter, sell, give away, or whatever. Just so everyone has fun--and maybe gets a few parts that they might need.

The parts seem to include: over 50 different groups of drive gears, 29 different groups of line carriage screws (worms), caps, line guides, sleeves, bridges, stands, etc. Probably 3000-4000 parts total. Nearly all are new old stock.

I really appreciate all of the knowledge on this board. And I hope this might be of interest so some of you.

My interests are mostly DAM Quick, Garcia-Mitchell, Penn, etc. From time to time, I also need certain parts that I do not have in stock--and have always appreciated this community of experts.

You can reach me at

Best Regards, Fred Oakes[/img][/b]
