I. D. This reel????????

Photo attached (I hope!) Reel is pretty big, and heavy. Has a circle on side where probably a sticker dwelt once, a long time ago. Whoops! Told you couldn't up load my photo. What did I do wrong?

your picture is most likely too big. try making it a bit smaller and uploading it.

Possible Identification

Hi fxxy,

Looks like a Shakespeare Sea Wonder--Possibly a #2080--produced around 1962.

Thanx to all for posting the photo and the ID, I guess it had a sticker on it once. Works surpriingly well for it's age...

Hi Fxxy, looking at the size of the spool and the handle knob your reel is a shakespeare sea-wonder model 2070

Hi Fxxy, On the other hand if your reel is painted Black it is a J. C. Higgins sold by Sears model # 535-31390 they were made by shakespeare and it is the same as the shakespeare model 2070 that is gray in color.
