Enough of this drivel about reels. Time for important stuff!

"The power of positive thinking"

So the king, after another especially bad joke by the court jester, says to his guard: "Hang him!"
Jester (nervously, but quickly): "Wait a minute king! I have a proposition to make!"
King (impatiently): "What is it?!"
Jester: "Spare my life for a year and I will teach your horse to fly and no more bad jokes!"
King (after momentary consideration): "Sounds interesting. Request granted. Now produce or else!"
Jester's friend to Jester a bit later: "What kind of crazy idea was that?"
Jester: "Now think for a minute. In a year the king may die. In a year I may die. And if I work like hell for a year I may just be able to teach his horse to fly!"

Moral: Promise to do anything a year later if it brings momentary benefit!
