Great article on the tough Medalist 1500 Lefty Series Stu! I thought I had a pretty good collection of Medalists until I checked and found I had zero 1500 reels. Medalists (I contend) are likely the most popular fly reel ever made. Bet that stirs up controversy! Now I bet they are also more frequently used by anglers today than any other early model fly reel. That may not be as arguable. Ciao! Bad Bob
