Bad Bob's "Advice for Wednesday"

Post by RAM »

Unless you are in the entertainment business, never admit stupid mistakes to anyone. Laughs, not sympathy, will ensue. Exception-The guy who did the same stupid thing. But odds are he won't admit it. Bad Bob

Thank goodness Wednesday only comes once a week. It can't be that cold in Nashville. Go fishing!

always admit mistakes to your wife - it takes back the upper hand.
Otherwise, she'll keep the upper hand beyond the grave.

Ron Mac-Never had the upper hand. Never will. Wives know everything so admitting mistakes to them is a redundant act. Wasn't thinking of wives at the time of writing, just peers.

Geezer-For me, fishing season is over and won't begin again until next April. The advice stands as written. Example: I recall a guy fell out of his boat, got laughed at by Bert the Dog, then felt compelled to amuse 900 ORCA members with the tale. A few turkeys did admit they had done the same thing. But there was some good advice there for us older guys.
As I recall, the weather in Idaho has been wretched lately. Don't tell me you were fishing in the midst of it!

Special note to the Geezer:

Come to Nashville. I just made a big pot of my famous white bean soup (world class). Not only do I guarantee you it is that good, but I guarantee you enough gas to get back to Idaho!

PS-Colder than Idaho here today! Light rain, windy, 43 degrees. Wretched fly fishing weather! Will April never get here? Bad Bob
