Bad Bob's "Saturday's Suggestion for Those Zonked on Tu
"Keep nothing that you do not consider either uselful or beautiful."
Reels are the rare example of items that meet both criteria. Those reels that you don't consider meeting either criterion should be given, not sold, to someone who does.
Most items in your garage, basement, attic, car trunk, pickup truck, storage shed, wife's closet, your closet, den desk, computer cabinet, under your bed, on the bathroom sink countertop and bathroom closet, hall closet, brief case, tackle box, fishing vest, boat, wife's purse, file cabinet, laundry room, refrigerator freezer, kitchen cabinets (especially beneath the sink), and old shoe boxes all normally meet neither of the criteria and should be given to Good Will or Salvation Army. If your house looks starkly empty after you have done so, it is evidence you have spent a lifetime collecting items that are ugly and of no use to you (except reels).
All opinions presented in anything Bad Bob writes are his alone. No rational person would likely think the same way. Bad Bob

Bob..the trouble with giving them to Good Will or Salvation Army or DAV or Amvets is that some other sick-puppy-ORCAN will just come along and drag them home! Like the little Daiwa spinning reel with 4.95 scribbled on it's side in grease pencil and about an inch of dirt but that still spins just fine that is now sitting on my counter, waiting for a bath and spit polish...just couldn't leave it! Soooo, we need to either give it to some kid to fish, combined with a pole and some tackle that's piled in our garage...or melt the little beasts down for jewelry! They just won't go away!
