Skelton reels for sale - make an offer

Post by snoekjaeger »

Hi,
These 3 came with a lot of other reels I bought.
2 are marked (the ones needing to be cleaned...), the black is not (the black).

Hey, J-P...the problem is that these things are breeding! ...and it must be asexual, like bureaucrats...you put one in a room and when you come back, there are 5! I may have started this by making that wood one...I had 1 skeleton reel a year ago...the model for that reel...I now have over 20! ...So, send all your extra buyers my way! :D

Hi J-P: John is absolutely correct. I added one of his fantastic wooden skeleton fly reels to my display earlier this year, making it the biggest skeleton among more than 100 others in my collection.
That unmarked black reel with the silver spool was made by Tokoz, the Czech company. I have one like that with two handles (and stamped Tokoz with the fish logo under the foot) and another with a single handle, stamped Tokoz and the fish logo on the back of the frame. Neat little reel, for anyone who wants to expand a skeleton collection to include a European version.
