I'm trying to track down a Snyder reel that our old friend Harvey Garrison reportedly had. Does anyone have any knowledge as to when/how he got it?...IF he got it?...Did he sell/trade it?

If he owned one of the world's rarest reels he sure kept it a pretty closed secret. I'd have loved to have seen some photos, and I'm inclined to think Harvey would have photographed it. If he did own one someone better find it quick.
Yes - a George Snyder reel! Supposedly he either had one or was close to getting one.
Either way - it is NOT in his collection, which now resides in Southern Ohio.

Randy, I hope someone checked all his banks to see if he had a safety deposit box. If I know Harvey, a loose board in his attic may have been more to his liking, I'm afraid.
Harvey did indeed have a safety deposit box - in Ohio. I'm certain April knew about it. He told me some of what he had in it when I last saw him. It was breath taking!
