Year and value of heddon reel?

I have a post WWII light saltwater reel (so I have been told). It has a green and black sticker on the side that says heddon on it with a number 409A. On the bottom it says MADE IN JAPAN 7J19. It is in excellent condition and I am wondering what year it was made in and what it could be worth. I paid $12.95 for it in an antique mall. Can anyone please tell me anything about it?
