I recently picked up a maroon box and papers for a Pflueger Summit model 1993 J. I see lots of 1993 L's but am not sure what the "J" model should look like.
If somebody could e-mail me a pic or post a pic that would be appreciated.
Also, if you have one that you might want to part with...

I may be some help.Maroon box's were used up till about 1935. The box May be worth more then the reel that came in it.If you well E-Mail me the date from yhe bottom of the box I can tell you what reel should go in it.It well say inspegted by and a date 5K 5 33. That is the date a reel was put in your box. I may be able to help you a reel. Nat the roadrunner.

Thanks Nate for helping me narrow down the reel that would go into this box. ORCA members...What a great group of people willing to share knowledge about fishing reels. As I gain more knowledge on the subject of fishing reels, it reminds me that knowledge not shared is knowledge lost.
