H-I info needed

If anyone has any H-I catalogs dated after 1953, I'd appreciate learning whether or not the H-I HI-Thumb No. 1916 is listed in them. Am trying to determine when and for how long the reel was made. Thanks very much for any info you can provide.

My friend Chris Labuz has the largest collection of H&I stuff in the world, bar none. I believe he has a complete run of catalogs. Email me at my yahoo address (or PM me) and I'll send you his email.

Dr. Todd,
Do you think you might be able to get him to send us copies of those we don't have in the library? We would pay copying cost and postage. Or if he were willing to send us the catalogs we would copy them and pay postage both ways.

Thanks! That's the way to build a library. We are always looking for new material so everyone who reads this, please see if you have anything we don't have that you can donate a copy of. Just because Harvey is gone doesn't mean I won't be bugging you.

Steve: The Hi-Thum reel is listed in the 1960 trade catalog and not in the 1961 or later catalogs.

Don: I do have quite a few dealer catalogs from H.I. what years do you need?
