Things to Worry About

Post by RAM »

Important things to worry about, in order of importance (with a few omissions):

1) Forgetting your anniversary
2) Forgeting your wife's birthday
3) Forgetting to pick wife up at mall on your way back from a fishing trip
4) Forgetting to take the garbage to the street before the truck arrives
5) Walking across 8th and Broad at 5:00 PM
6) Surviving any trip in your car once out of the driveway
7) Surviving teenage daughter's first night out with the car without losing your mind
..
28) Al Gore getting the Democratic nomination
..
827) Not winning the Power Ball lottery
..
1,522) Being struck by lightning
..
16,798 Being struck by a meteorite
..
27,562 Global warming

Okay-Who is the wise guy who pegged the smiley face to show up whenever Al's name appears? That should read: 287) (or lower)

I'm sure glad you posted that, John. I came in from an afternoon in the sun (fishing the river, not mowing the lawn) and read Jack's post and immediately went to the frig for a beer - I thought I was dehydrated and confused.

Don't worry about Jack guys. The sculpting bit refers to my response to Dale Noll as to how to clean (with tin oxide) the smoky grime off his son's coins ruined in a recent fire. Check the Reel Talk forum from a couple of days ago. Don't you read anything but global warming hype?

To Jack-Was big into sculpting once, and did several bass (also trout, musky, sunfish, along with many other beasties) in marble. Eventualy realized I would starve doing it full time so I quit. Total commitment or nothing sort of thing I thought. Actually, it was more due to arthritic hands. Too much hammering. There is more to us all than trying to outwit a fish, right? You e-mailed me a pic of your SM bronze a couple of years ago Jack. I was impressed!
