I have one all apart, got it that way, seems in pretty good shape, discolored etc, but smooth running. Thumb brake made by somebody else, cant quite read it. How old is this?
Also have a folsom, no model name, thimb brake says pflueger, Why?

The Folsom reel is a generic reel that was made for Folsom Arms Co. of NYC. It could have been made by lots of companies. It undoubtedly has that Pflueger thumb brake because someone added it.
