would anyone have a idea of the value for a garcia line winder. the chuck
has bein modified to a newer type, the unit has all the main shafts for
the garcia mitchell reels to hold the spools, works perfectly, and is in
excellant condition, also have the special wrenches screw driver combos
for 300 series reels , two sizes, plus 600 series, i cant find any listings
to compare . many thanks eric.

Prices vary with condition and all the factory parts. Pictures would help of the modification. I've seen them go from $80-$140 depending on who and how many want it.

Acquired a GARCIA line winder on a blue gray, formed plastic, ~11"X21.5" base, that works off foot pedal & has reversible black gear reduction motor, a set of arbors/accessories, line counter, heavy chrome adjustable reel seat & big red GARCIA sticker several years ago from a flea market vendor for $100, negotiated from his $125 asking price. Its only defect was part of the lip was broken off the ring under where large bulk spools would sit. Its the only GARCIA line winder I've ever seen.

There were 2 line winder for auction on ebay last week. $100 for one and $150 for the other. Strange 2 would show up in one weeks time. One was an older stlye and the other newer style. I'll try and get the #'s so they can be compared. Later.
