Which of the following would you prefer (U.S. citizens only since Canada has already made a decision):
1) A "Carbon Tax", say 10 cents per gallon on gasoline or 5 cents per gallon on home heating oil, the proceeds going to subsidize home solar panels, and construction of wind mill and other non-carbon or lower carbon-based power units (ethanol growers and producers, nuclear power plants, dogs like Bert on treadmills, etc.).
2) Just let the Treasury go ahead and print more money to subsidize the same.
2) Neither of the above. Just stop going fishing and reel hunting and voluntarily use less carbon.

PS-Any day now the Peace Prize will be announced. That Al has always been a peaceful guy! Prediction II. He will give the million dollar prize to some windmill project somewhere. He doesn't need the money anyhow.
