Disclaimer: This posting does not imply that BB is bald or that BrianF ever surfs without a trolling rig at hand. It is not meant to disparage ex-WAVEs who may be hanging around street corners wondering where they are. It apologizes for omitting the portrait of any Boykin that might have been hanging around the illustrated hydrant.

Evidence is mounting that both Hurricane Carla (1961) and Hurricane Camille (1969, both Category 5 events, ) were the result of selfish Americans using fossil fuels to stay comfortable and enjoy the good life, thus raising Earth's average temperatures a fraction of one degree over the previous decade.

Note: Revisionist history in the cause of global salvation is good.
Contrarianism in the search for truth is evil.

Bert the Boykin looked at that cartoon and asked "what's a hydrant"? He knows all about rural mail boxes stuck in old milk cans, but has never seen a fire hydrant.
