questions of the day:
part # 81223 is a mitchell bail spring.I just spent a not unpleasant hour looking through schematics to no avail.
Question #1- What Mitchell reels is it for ?
Question #2 - has anybody ever written a cross reference guide for Mitchell parts?
Sounds like a monumental task to me.

Mitchell part # 81223 is a bail spring that fits the 320 Mitchell reel.

that part no. also lists on interchange book to fit a 324. garcia published an interchange book for mitchells,garcia,s, abumatic,s and free spool mitchells the book i have is from about early 1969 but i see no part no for the book itself. ----------- gene b.
