Watched an interview last evening with a Iraq veteran who was a member of a group of guys who give talks at schools and such about their experiences in Iraq, in support of their fellow troops still there. They were scheduled to talk to students at a school in Minnesota but the program was canceled because the school board thought the program was "too political". Instead, they decided to show the Al Gore movie "An Inconveniet Truth".
Reminded me of a lady whose time it was to host her garden club meeting with a little luncheon. So she went to her local deli for some advice as to what hors d'oeuvre might be different to serve. The deli manager suggested she try a deliceous recipe he had for a tounge pate. She responded: "Heavens! I wouldn't think of eating something that came out of an animal's mouth! I think I'll just fix some deviled eggs."
