Jerry-These come up fairly often on eBay; in fact, there's one listed right now (#380012496470) and they usually go for $10-$20, depending on condition. The boxes come up regularly also, and the Model B came in the black & silver cannister. Merv has a few (dozen) of the cans.

I don't have the exact model you've inquired about. I do have a " Kalamazoo, Pride, Model B" however. The reel is in good working order, but would do even better if gears were cleaned up and re-greased. Perhaps this might be a compromise for your friend. You might mention it to them.
