Without Googling (why cheat?), do you know what countries are the biggest exporters of oil to the U.S.?

shooting from the hip...think it's Canada and Mexico..probably Venezuela used to be third...dunno now. So, let's go bomb the Middle East again, eh BB?!

Cool shooting Deke. 36% of total from Canada and Mexico (among the worst of the radical Islamic states), followed by Saudi Arabia (15%), then Venezuela and Nigeria (total of 23%), and finally a whole bunch of et als like Iraq (5%) and Kuwait (2%), etc. . These stats never make prime time news. Most people think all our oil comes from the Middle East.

Now for the bad news. Mexico's oil production is in serious decline, and the Saudis are, for all practical purposes, unable to increase production. Soon (very soon) Russia will be the worlds "petro power" (may already be there), not the Middle East.
