Peerless Richardson rod

Post by Ron Mc »

I don't have it in front of me, I don't remember if it's Richardson or Richards, Chicago. Can anybody c. date a Peerless steel rod with this manufacturing on the reelseat?
Thanks.

It's Richardson, and the Peerless was a line of rods, not a specific model. The Peerless was their mid-quality line. Richardson made Peerless fly, bait casting, and SW rods. This line of rods was available from the mid-1920s until WWII, at least, and maybe beyond those years.
