Been away a few days and just wished to say how sorry I am about old Bert. Met him at a show way back. Never really been a dog person but the yellow lab next door and I have been friends since she arrived last year as a puppy. Now she expects a neck scratching every time I pass her fence. Got to watch getting attached to somebody else's dog. It is easy to do. I know it was tough for both of you.
