As per D.Roberts Mitchell collectors Guide:
The first Mitchell Prince was the 308/309 (First Issue) in 1959 for the European market. It was available for 2 years and was also sold in Garcia packaging. You can tell this model by raised "France" lettering cast into the reel face. "Prince" cast into body.Approx. Value: $200-300.
Second Issue 308/309 from 1960 was Garcia's version for Canada,US and UK. "France" in raised letters on front of body."Prince" cast into body.One year production. Approx. V.:$150-250.
Third version 308 ultra-lite from 1962. Sold in Europe. France stamped on foot. Some had "Prince" sticker. Appox.V.: $100-250.
1963 Mitchell 308 (Prince)- For Europe/UK was a standard 308 with the "Prince" sticker on the reverse cover plate and various vendor logos."France" stamped on reel foot. Approx.V.:$150-250.
