Post by ReelMan1988 »

My CPU has got the Internet explored virus that is going around. Everyone save your self by placing all important documents onto cd/external hard drive! There is no way to protect yourself from this virus! It links itself to common sites - eBay - aol - yahoo - and is growing! Might even conect itself to this one!

Message from my ipod.

Good luck!

The virus allows you not to have any control of your computer. How to prevent this is to not use Internet explorer and use an alternate web browsing software. Google crome, mozilla, Ect. If you have any questions , post here. Any deals I made will have to await me getting my CPU fixed.

Sorry, I should have asked a different way: "what did the virus do to your computer?"

As I understood descriptions of the virus, your computer could be taken over but you would not necessarily notice any difference (which seems to be the success of the virus as it assures the hackers can continue for a while). Are you saying you actually could not proceed with any processes, open any programs, use your mouse/cursor, etc. to physically control your computer?
