Rob,

Nice start to your collection! Many of us do collect level winds, but many also collect spinning reels, and of all of them, the Cardinal is one of the most popular. You will want to invest in the great new book on ABU spinning reels if you haven't already. Here is a link to a review I wrote:

Thanks for sharing and good luck on your Cardinal collection!

yes I have see this book listed on ebay by the author before...
I think there is one other out there by the author by the way of Wright
guide to collectable spinning reels? he [ if this is the author ''Wight'']
has also written about the Mitchel spinning reels... could be wrong on the authors name...
thanks for looking and I will get that book soon.
by the way I do fish quite a few of them... as you can see by the Photo's

Thanks Rob

Rob,

You're referring to Ben Wright's "Wright Price Guide" for spinning reels--another absolute must if you don't have it. It's available from the ORCA store.

Don't you just love a collection you can actually fish with?

Cheers,

Dr. Todd
