Climbing dog makes headlines! A first!

A hound dog required rescue from the very top of a tree by firemen. This was on national news this morning (really). Dog seemed exceptionally happy to be down.
The cat next door laughed so hard it had a hernia and had to be taken to the vet for emergency surgery (not really, but it could have happened).
