Some of the earliest marked pfluegers with names were:

Pflueger Akron

Pflueger Summit

Pflueger Victor

Pflueger Peerless

Pflueger Kentucky

Pflueger Buckeye

Pflueger Norka

And theres a few more...

The Worth was also an early one so I'll throw in a picture of a first model worth.

I'm lucky enough to have five off this list. If you liked the worth you'll love these! The quality of the first pflueger reels was incredible. Heres some eye candy for you. These are not for sale.

Great reels Robin...You are showing me up but I am happy for you.
I got a left hand Alpine the other day. The level wind is neat on it (upside down).

Jerry, the Alpine you got is not a left handed reel, it is an under rod reel made for hanging under the rod by a right handed user. I collect left handed reels and the Alpine is not one of them.

Thanks Mr. Bugman. It is still a neat reel no matter where it goes...

I can get that Guardian picture to you. I just have to find it! Once I get some webspace, I can start posting pictures again here too.

Robin, those are some excellent reels. Thanks for sharing!

I was wandering around here look at some of the posts..I have the clueless chic posting anyway...looks like there is some Pflueger convo going on here that may or may not be helpful... anyway I have posted stuff..because I am trying to help my dad figure out..he is my best friend's dad the closest to one I have had...but he has some reels I have been trying to find info about he may or may not sell them..either way just trying out possible value..or dates created ya know stuff like that...anyway one of them is a Pflueger Rocket no1375...I think he mentioned something about it being level wind...I have no idea what that means honestly...he knows how to work them as far as the collector aspect of it all...its my job to find the history and value...so I am askin anyone else that will listen LOL
