Reelin' in the Holidays!

Post by David M »

This ole Bomber lure in Christmas tree color gave me an odd, but festive idea. Might attract fish, but would be a little tough to cast. I'm not sure what # test, but assume it's for LIGHT action...Ha Ha! I hope you enjoy it. Happy Holidays -- David

Thank you guy's for the kind comments, I really appreciate it. I realize that most Pflueger pfans here have seen one, but while I'm posting I might as well point out the rod for those who haven't. You just don't see that many compared to the number of Pfl reels out there. Lucky for us car doors don't eat reels. David

David,

Very colourful & you even have the Christmas lights added . That would make it easier to fish with at night . Hope you catch something ELFISH
Enjoy the holidays and all the best for the New Year to everyone.

This is what you get for inspiring me.

"Clarence the red gilled cutthroat
had a very shiny gill
and if you ever saw it
you would run and get your reel

All of the other small fry
used to laugh and call him names
they wouldn't let poor Clarence
play in any cutthroat games

then one foggy Christmas eve
Santa came to say
Clarence with your gill so bright
Won't you bite my hook tonight

Then Clarence was in his backing
Santa set the drag and held on tight
and that's how Clarence the cutthoat
Guided Santas sleigh on Christmas night

My apologies to T. S. Eliot
I asked my wife if it was way too stupid to send and her comment was,"For you? No". Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Love it Tyler! It's supposed to snow here in Missouri on Christmas, so I'll keep an eye out for those shiny red gills. We have clearance Clarence! Merry Christmas -- David
