I have a first version (late 1915 likely) Kihoga available. Neat small size (250 yd. but looks much smaller-3 1/4" diameter disc, 2" pillar). Has raised HR face plate. Strong click, leather thumber, smooth action. Handle screw secured with early-style locking swirl also attaced by screw.
I would judge it as A8 (minor brass showing, face HR a bit faded), M9.

This is a very scarce reel, the only few I know of having sold for much more on eBay.
