As Boise State has achieved some notoriety, people have wondered if BSU copied the colors and logo of the Denver Broncos. This morning the Boise paper had a column about this subject. It turns out that BSU actually chose the blue and orange and bronco logo 28 years before the Denver copycats even existed. Back in the 1930s Boise Junior College was about to have their first basketball game and four student team members chose the colors and the nick name "Broncos".

Take that, Denver! :x
