I've been married for 24 years and in that time I have brought home thousands of reels. My wife has never before commented on any of them ...not a one ...ever. That is, until I brought this Allcocks "Commodore" reel home ...she took one look and said that's the ugliest reel you have ever had.
The Commodore is 6" in diameter, made of stainless steel and will hold 300 yards of 120 lb. test line. It was advertised as a "Salt Water reel for Tope, Conger, Skate and all Large Sea Fish."
This one is working as it should and has a strong click. It weighs a ton.
