The most excellent reel news was in the "outback" of Texas on Aug. 28th... (burro/stage coach need some hi-pro feed for turbo delivery)...

I hear it was in the BIG CITIES (D & H) a few days before...

Good job!

Glad you got your's Harvey. Just checked mail nothing in N. California as of now. It will be a collector's item soon. Hope mail carriers don't damage too much reading it so it's in at least almost mint shape. LOL

Ooops

Post by Teal »

Richard,

Ooops. That's what happens to me when my wife is away in Taiwan teaching a graduate class for 2 weeks and I am stuck at home with a 5 year old. Man alive. I either lost a whole day or I am in a time warp!

Friday and no Reel NEws. Maybe Saturday. One can hope.

Saturday night in Kansas City, MO and no "Reel News". How long before the next issue is mailed, maybe I'll have better luck then.

Hey! Hey! Hey! The Reel News made it to K. C. MO. There was a sticky note attached from my mailman that thanked me for letting him read it for the last two weeks (Just a joke since I'd accused him of doing so). Richard and his gang of writers did a very nice job. I must confess of slight disappointment in seeing Dan on the front cover instead of my beautiful (40 lbs. overweight) body in blue jeans, T-shirt, and backwards baseball hat, etc., etc,. On second thought, Richard, I must say your camera made a good choice; I could enjoy watching Dan Basore cast all day.
The articles were great and I even think I have information about serial numbering of Supreme reels that Bob Miller isn't sure of. Looking forward to the next issue already!
