ATTN: John Elder, Salty Dawg and Ron Lewis, and folks who were asking about spare parts for Heddon Dominators,
There was a thread a while back about it, but info was scarce because old contacts had dissipated. (John, was that you?)
The Allcoast Board archives are back. Go there and do a search for Dominator. A ways down the page, there are a few posts about it, along with a repair shop (Ken's) and other stuff. One of those guys was aka Dominator Guy from Old Paw's board, I think.
Sorry for the wishy-washy post and less-than-lucid info. I just hate loose ends, and this ties some of them up.
Doc.

Thanks for the help, Dr. Rob...interesting bit of history. didn't see a specific reference to Ken's for repairs, etc, but it might be Ken's Reels in Oceanside, CA? He's a good guy and only appr. 20 miles away. I'll have to call him and ask about the reel.
thanks to Ronel Lewis, i have a close-up of the lost knob on the clicker, so I can probably get one made. However, if I can find a parts source, the original would certainly be better. LMK if you have a good line on parts or know who I can pester!

Yeah, Ken's in Oceanside. Whatshisname... Corbett? Sure, give him a call. Don't know him m'self. Who else to pester? Well, SoCal has a few reel folks... Kerry would be good if he has the time; he has a decent machine shop. Cal, if he has the time. Hawk would be great, but he has no lathe. Myself, but I live far away. Really though, any home shop machinist should be able to poke one of those together for you.
Hm, 'bout that picture.. Lemesee?
*CorWIN, that's it. Ken Corwin.
