Orvis 100 Crank Handle

Does the crank handle on an Orvis 100(Italian) fold up? If so how does one fold it. I noted a pin in the handle but it does not move, and I am reluctant to appy to much pressure. Any insight would be appreciated.

i'm away from mine for a test drive, but I think you just crank it backwards and keep cranking until it's loose enough that the handle can collapse against the reel.
