My wife commented that my office is starting to look like the reel case at WalMart. I told her WalMart does not have Coxe or Meisselbach reels in their case, but I don't think that really made any difference to her.
Just for interest sake and to show her that I am only a rookie at this, could you please send me a pic of how you display your reels?
I attached a couple picks of my WalMart display case. I also have about 10 larger old saltwater reels hanging on the walls of my pool room mounted on vintage rods along with 4 old bamboo fly rods with reels. She hasn't said anything negative about those yet.
Nice set-up, Wayne! But for harmony's sake, you should place the pic of the Little Woman in the center rather than to the side...maybe a couple accent lights...She'll love your reels! ...and if that's an ex-girlfriend, just move out now ...but take your reels
Doesn't make any difference what your hobby is. The wife will complain. The answer is to spend as much on her as you spend on reels. On second thought, that won't work either. Just smile!
