Salmonfishing in Denmark

We do have some small rivers here in Denmark where we can catch salmon and seatrout.
So I don't have to go to Norway, Scotland or Sweden every year.
Only the nature is much better the other places.


On the way down to the river. My dog always try to come with me.


The river is named Skjern (river skjern)





I'm trying to find the right fly - did not find the right one that day


Perfect cast - just to the other side, where the salmon is


After a day by the river, we got back to the house and did what we do best. Preparing the food


And my dog is waiting for some food as well

Again a nice day with some friends at the river. Life is wonderful

Many years ago I spent two and a half years in Danmark. Where is the river you refer to? Juland? or Sjeaeland? enjoyed the pictures sir.

The river Skjern is in Jylland. One of the best salmon rivers in Denmark.
Did you fish some rivers or lakes in Denmark in the years you was here?
