Here's a review from a totally objective reader:

Could not put it down! This book answered many questions about Otto Zwarg, his personal family history, his history with the Vom Hofe makers and the history of the Zwarg reels. It tells how to breakdown the serial numbers to identify each reel, talks about special custom presentation reels and the elusive Maximo 12/O.
The Zwarg reels were built in the style of the most famous Vom Hofe saltwater and fly reels, only better. This book answers the questions any collector would need to know about the maker and his product.

A must read for anyone interested in the history of Otto Zwarg and his products. cool-thumb cool-thumb cool-thumb

I'm with Mike...I could NOT put this book down! From front cover to back, it was riveting. I don't know how Norm did it, but there is SO MUCH history and such a complete view of Otto, his family and his patnerships...it's amazing! Just a GREAT compilation with fantastic pictures throughout. A MUST HAVE for any reel collector!

Kuddos Norm!
