I buy lots of lures and reels and stuff all the time locally here in New Mexico, I picked up a reel yesterday made in denmark. I have had lots of u.s. reels and abu's of course! But havent had one of these and i thought i would join your site and rub elbows with a group of knowledgeable reel collectors to help me figure out this reels history and possible value! Heck some of you may even want to purchase it as i am more of a lure collector! It is a spinning reel and has BMV in a red circle on the right hand side of the reel and made in denmark Model D.It is gold in color and in very good condition! Has a 4 digit number under the line spool. I'm sure you all are familiar with it and can enlighten me!
