:D 8) :!:   :type: Brad, acording to Lawsons 3rd edition price guide page 97 , Itsconsidered a FLY REEL and list value is $10.00 and $12.00) the $12.00 is the narow spool. Marting in my thoughts made some nice reels, and again in my thoughts) are undervalued, It may be a sleeper in time to come, I am seting back a few for the future, Some as new in original box with paperwork I got for $4 to $9.00 other used ones of different styles from $2 to $4. and I do use them. Trust this reel will be a start of a most interestig hobby, (Reel Colecting) and you may want to Join ORCA see our membership application on the front of our site! An Article about the Martin Automatic Reel, specifically the larger size "trolling reel" was published in The Reel News of Winter 1998, page 17. The large size Martin was quite expensive, retailing for $10, at a time when a Talbot Comet cost $14 and a Meek Blue Grass trolling reel #4 cost $18.
