Wayne, I understand your recent consternation regarding ebay, but must say that Gerry did not offer that info up without being in response to another post. We have always allowed our members and others to post about their ebay listings and so far, it has not gotten out of hand. If it does, then we would take action.

I must be seeing a different thing here. We have a "For Sale" page. Usually a great place for good deals.

Using ORCA to direct people to promote and embellish their items on ebay seems, in my opinion, to detract from the hobby and the integrity of our site.

If this process of listing an item on ebay then advertising on ORCA is an accepted procedure, then "Katy, Bar the Door!" Here comes a lot of promotions directing members and prospective members to ebay.

Not sure I agree.

Well, that was a concern from the start...but as I said, it hasn't happened...and the handful of promotions that have shown up are from die-hard borders, not from random posters.
