I think it is a casting reel. Handles are white like the dominos. Word Castamatic is written on it and the no. 50 is by the handle. The casting control screws on and off.
Sounds like the Castomatic baitcasting reel made by the Outdoor Products division of the Quaker City Gear Works, Inc., Philadelphia, in the late 1940s-1950s. A common reel sold on eBay regularly at prices of $10-$25.
