Either all ReelTalk readers have read these two books or you guys are so absorbed in the last issue of The Reel News that you haven't recognized what an incredible deal this is. Two great reads for any fisherman, for the price of one. Both are paperback. NOT those heavy hardbacks, but genuine paperback books! The first is Batfishing in the Rain Forest, Strange Tales of Travel and Fishing, by Randy Wayne White. The second is Norman McLean's legendary A River Runs Through It. Two books for SOLD Thanks!

Saw the movies? I didn't know Batfishing was a movie.
And ya think a movie with Brad Pitt really did justice to Norman Maclean's wonderful novel? Yeh, well... maybe it was a really good film and some great fly fishing scenes. But this is literature, fercrissakes! Book learnin'! Ah, forget it. I'll stick these books in a mason jar and bury them in my backyard. Somebody will find them in 100 years and say, "What the heck are these? Kindling?"
