I don't think I'll mow the yard today.

What a great bait, but I would be a little bit leary about tying on the hook ! :)

Mow more often Ron. What else lurks in your lawn?

scorpions, but I only get about one/month in the summer sneaking under the door jams.

We talked about brown recluse on the other thread - they hide in the garage, not the yard.

Rabbits. My boxer is the fastest dog I've ever seen, but wild rabbits live in the fenced acre with him (sanctuary from the feral cats). I envision him chasing a rabbit one day, it turned, he rolled, then dusted himself off, never to chase one again.

I remember the scorpions from when I was in service down there. We would go in the field for a week. Always check your boots every morning before puting them on. They even crawled in the sleeping bag with us. Some rattlers too.
