I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE OF THESE BEFORE. Approximately 3-3/4" diameter reel. Marked on back "A.D. McGill AUTOGRAPH," "MODEL 3B." Reel foot marked Wright & McGill, Denver Co., USA" Buttons on back don't work but I have not tried to correct the problem with them. Locked in Anti Reverse, no click. Uncleaned, as found. I have no idea what it's worth, so you tell me. Post here or email to

Norm...not all that rare. There's quite a few that were made. It's a good trout reel. Unfortunately condition again is everything. This one falls into the 1970'ish category. Maybe $45 in Ex condition with box and paperwork.
I've got a couple of 'em for users.
Norm...I woulda answered your Joe's post, but thought the news my be delivered better via a direct email. I was about to do that, when I found this post on ORCA. I felt better answering here, because the guys here don't take offense and if I was off...they'd jump in and correct me right away. Sorry it's not a rare one. But they were a good little reel in thier day.
Jon...You been nippin' on the cold medicine again?!
Kelly...t'was a light hearted joke pokin' fun at Robert. He don't mind. I haven't stopped collecting reels. He's probably in his reel room right now, layin' out a plan to get me back.
Brian...t'was the right thing to do. It was Norm's post. There was no downer involved. In fact, it's great that you were politely allowing the boys to have a bit of harmless fun. IT HAS been quiet of late, and some just want to chat when the opportunity arises. Norm's a GOOD guy...he knows.
Kelly: You will find Rick Heitman and Robert Ellis John Elder Norm Pinardi to be some of the nicest guys O.R.C.A. has to offer. You've got to learn how to take Robt and Rick. Great guys!
Thanks for the heads up on that. Sometimes it is hard to understand when you haven't seen someone post a lot. You don't always know if they are kidding, or something like that. I hope to get to know a lot of people on this forum.
Norm...money is in your account! ...and as for the rest of you...behave or i will send this reel to you when it comes!
Kelly...everyone you will interact here are nice folks and if you read anything where you wonder if someone is kidding or not, ALWAYS assume they are kidding! Folks that can't play nice don't stay here very long!
You're sure doing that. This is the 21st post since my initial post and additional picture. Keep it going. And to add a commercial note, copies of my book on Otto Zwarg are still available for $25 mailed to any US or Canadian address, $29.95 mailed to foreign addresses.
Be sure and tell them you will autograph it, that adds to the great value. And I can attest that it's a good book. Every collector needs one. (How's that for a commercial?)
