Reel restoration and cleaning

Post by Tony. Malatesta »

 Hi fellow reel collectors. Although i've been an avid fisherman for 20 yrs. plus, i've only been collecting vintage reels for about 4 months and i've amassed a rather large collection. I need to know how to clean them properly without affecting their value. I'm sure someone out there has the answer i'm looking for. Thank's!

Tony, welcome aboard. Go back a few pages till you find the topic "Let's see a pic of your cleaning station." Some of the pictures may be gone, but you'll find a wealth of information there. Jim
